| We work with, speak with, and listen to, at-risk students. As we interact with them it becomes clear that, in many instances, we educators can get so wrapped up in rhetoric, politics, and philosophy that we may forget that, at the end of the day, it’s the student that matters. As we work with these students, some consistent characteristics and themes continue to rise to the surface. We believe we can share this information with other educators and, by doing so, all students can benefit. |
